Bob Allen and his wife, Mandy, have two daughters, Lucy and Daisy. They moved to Davenport in the summer of 2017 to serve as the Associate Pastor overseeing Youth, Children, and Young Families at New Life Baptist Church. A member of the GCD Writers Guild, he holds a Masters of Theological Studies with an emphasis in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion for serving pastors has led Bob to serve part-time as Baptist Convention of Iowa’s pastor and church support staff for the southeast region. He has an affinity for good coffee, old dead British authors, and the St. Louis sports scene.
Adam Haut is the Director of Ambulance Services for Genesis Hospital Group in Davenport, IA. Born and raised in the Quad Cities area, Adam and his wife, Jackie, are members of New Life Baptist Church. They spend a lot of time serving the community through coaching their kids’, Jill and Henry, athletic teams. Adam serves on the board of 180 Ministries, a ministry to recently paroled inmates and those recovering from alcohol and drug abuse in the QCA. In addition to that role, Adam serves as a small group leader and on the security team at New Life Baptist Church.
Cole Lane is currently a student at Spurgeon College at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he participates in the Accelerate Program. He has served as a youth and college ministry intern off and on for the last 4 years. In addition to deep theological discussion, Cole is also fueled by tacos and coffee.
Paul List became the Pastor at First Baptist Church in Slater, MO this past December. He and his wife Patty Jo have three children, two daughters–Ellie and Taylor, and one son–Henry. Paul graduated with honors from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018 with a Masters of Theological Studies. Paul’s passion is evangelism, often finding a way to work the gospel into every conversation.
Dr. Joe Nichols (PhD – Biblical Studies – New Testament, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) currently serves as the Pastor of Christ the Lord Community Church in Salina, Kansas. He also serves as an adjunct professor of Christian Apologetics at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding.
Crystal Brooke graduated from Western Illinois University in the spring of 2019 with dual Bachelors of Science degrees in music therapy and psychology. Crystal has a heart for music and service, but one of her true passions in life is potatoes. (Yes, you read that right.)
